Help close the gender gap in STEM and contribute to research excellence through more diverse teams.

## Empowering Young Female Scientists

To help close the gender gap in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), ARTORG and the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (CAIM) plan to fund scholarships for two promising female STEM graduates to pursue a two-year, full-time Master's program

This targeted support will help pave the way for careers in STEM, while contributing to diverse, high-performing research teams and fostering future role models for young women interested in science.

## Building Bridges Between Research and Clinical Practice

The ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research at the University of Bern is a multidisciplinary center of excellence for medical technology. ARTORG has a strong clinical and translational focus and covers the entire spectrum from exploring potential innovations to their clinical implementation.

CAIM is a research, teaching, and translation platform for medical technology. CAIM explores the potential of artificial intelligence to improve patient care and facilitate the work of physicians and nurses.
